MSC Consultants is a London-based consultancy specialising in the design and delivery of sports facilities and public realm projects. Founded in 1984 by Graeme Tipp, the practice has built a reputation for technical excellence, independent advice, and sector-leading expertise spanning more than four decades.

MSC were the consultants on the construction of the first artificial turf pitch in the UK — a landmark project that helped shape the development of modern synthetic sports surfaces nationwide. This pioneering involvement established our long-standing role in advancing sports surface standards and performance design.

Today, we work closely with public sector clients — including local authorities, schools, academies, and community organisations — to transform outdoor environments from initial concept through to completion. Our expertise spans all phases of the project lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility and design development, through procurement and construction oversight, to handover and post-completion support.
